RDF- The Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia

The Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia (RDF) is a Legal Entity under Private Law, playing a crucial role in supporting regional governance, decentralization, and self-government. It provides expertise in the management of regional, national, and EU resources, applying modern administrative methods to enhance economic and social development. The RDFWM actively supports the Region of Western Macedonia, ensuring effective planning and execution of regional development strategies through financial management, technical assistance, and project implementation.

The fund’s core responsibilities include managing Public Investment Program credits, providing technical support, overseeing regional development planning, and implementing EU-funded projects. It also conducts research, feasibility studies, and technical reports, while facilitating loans for infrastructure and service projects. With extensive experience in regional development and EU programs, RDFWM plays a key role in the ISABEL project, leading the Living Lab in Western Macedonia, where stakeholders collaborate to explore solutions for job creation and destruction (JCD) in transitionary labour markets.
