NEXT UP

Objectives

NEXT-UP is a Horizon Europe project exploring and forecasting the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on young people’s transition from education to employment across Europe. The project focuses particularly on ensuring inclusive and equitable employment opportunities for disadvantaged young people. Combining methods such as Living Labs, machine learning, psychometric surveys, longitudinal interviews and policy analysis, NEXT-UP brings together young people, policymakers, educators, employers and youth organisations to co-create evidence-informed and future-oriented policies and programmes. Its results aim to support more responsive and resilient education and employment systems and improve the support available to young people entering the labour market.
