3rd General Assembly in Katowice

May 18, 2026

The 3rd General Assembly of the ISABEL Horizon project was successfully held in Katowice, Poland, bringing together consortium partners to review the overall progress of the project and coordinate the next stages of implementation. Over the course of two days, partners discussed developments across all Work Packages, with particular emphasis on the project’s technical infrastructure and research activities.

A central focus of the meeting was the ongoing development of the ISABEL Horizon platform and its AI-driven components, including data lakes, web crawlers, and advanced analytics solutions. These technologies are designed to support the collection, integration, and analysis of large-scale labour market data in order to better understand the uneven impacts of the green and digital transitions across European regions and sectors.

The discussions highlighted the project’s broader objective of supporting evidence-based policymaking and fair labour market transitions through innovative data-driven approaches. Particular attention was given to how artificial intelligence and advanced labour market analytics can contribute to identifying emerging occupational trends, skills needs, vulnerabilities, and reskilling opportunities associated with the twin transition.

In addition to the technical discussions, consortium partners reviewed the progress achieved within the different project activities and explored future coordination actions to strengthen collaboration and ensure the effective implementation of upcoming deliverables. The meeting further reinforced the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of the ISABEL project, combining expertise from research, technology, labour market analysis, and policy development to support more resilient and inclusive labour market futures across Europe.
