2nd Co-Creation Workshop-online

On 10 July 2025, the ISABEL project successfully held its first Co-Creation Workshop, bringing together project partners from across Europe to exchange knowledge and perspectives on the effects of the green and digital transitions on labour markets.

The workshop provided an important opportunity for partners to jointly discuss and refine key elements of ISABEL’s research approach, with particular attention to changes in industries, jobs and skills and the implications of these transformations for workers, employers and policymakers.

Key topics discussed during the workshop included:

• Research approaches for analysing job creation and destruction (JCD) and skills shortages;
• Development of the ISABEL questionnaires targeting employers and workers;
• Industries and occupations expected to be particularly affected by the green and digital transitions;
• Skills that may become increasingly vulnerable or require adaptation;
• Policy approaches that can support fair and inclusive labour market transitions.

The insights gathered through the workshop will contribute to the further development of ISABEL’s research activities and support the project’s efforts to better understand labour market transformations across European regions.

The workshop represents an important step in ISABEL’s co-creation approach, ensuring that different perspectives and expertise are incorporated throughout the research process.
