SKILLAB

Objectives

SKILLAB is a Horizon Europe project developing a skills intelligence platform to monitor skills demand and supply across the European labour market and identify skills shortages and mismatches. The project brings together labour market data, organisational needs, European skills frameworks and policy information to support more effective skills development and workforce planning.

Using Artificial Intelligence and advanced data analysis, SKILLAB aims to identify emerging skills and occupations and analyse skills gaps across regions, sectors and over time. The project will provide evidence and recommendations to support upskilling and reskilling, vocational education and training, recruitment and career development, while also helping policymakers design more targeted responses to changing labour market needs.

SKILLAB brings together 10 partners from six European countries and contributes to European initiatives such as the Pact for Skills. Its results are designed to support different users, including policymakers, education and training providers, employers, HR professionals, workers and jobseekers.
