Isabel @ EUNIfy Event in Thessaloniki – May 2025

ISABEL made a strong presence at the inaugural EUNIfy event, held in Thessaloniki, bringing together EU project managers, universities, and research centers to explore collaboration and knowledge exchange through European programs.

Our coordinator, Nicholas Vretos from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) – National Centre for Research and Technological Development, represented ISABEL at the event. He presented the project’s mission to support a just and inclusive transition, highlighting how ISABEL addresses the social and geographical impacts of job creation and destruction in the context of major global trends, such as technological change, globalization, and the green transition.

The event provided a valuable platform to connect research, policy, and practice. It enabled ISABEL to share its vision, engage with fellow EU initiatives, and explore opportunities for collaboration that can translate knowledge into actionable strategies for the future of European innovation.Attending EUNIfy underlined the importance of partnerships and co-creation in tackling the challenges of Europe’s evolving labour markets, reinforcing ISABEL’s commitment to inclusive, data-driven, and impactful solutions.
